Julie Gunzler, MD

Dr. Gunzler specializes in Pediatrics and is happily accepting new patients at our offices in Mayfield Heights and Twinsburg.  She has refer and follow privileges at UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and Ahuja Hospital.

Philosophy

It is important for me to create a partnership with my patients and their parents to address their immediate health concerns as well as provide guidance toward a lifetime of healthy and responsible choices. As a scientist, I use the available evidence whenever possible to solve clinical problems. As a mom. I just love to interact with the kids!

Personal

Dr. Gunzler lives in Shaker Heights with her husband (a neurologist) and their two children. She enjoys playing viola and piano, swimming, and hiking.

Education

Julie Gunzler graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute summa cum laude in 1996. She entered a Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, graduating with a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology in 2002 and her medical degree in 2004. She completed her pediatric residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland Oregon. Dr. Gunzler is board certified in Pediatrics in October 2007.
